CROSSBRIDGE KIDS

Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.

Proverbs 22:6

we love families

First Time To Crossbridge Kids?  You will be welcomed into a friendly, casual environment by volunteers who are happy to see you and your family.  Plan to arrive 15 minutes before the service begins.  When parking in the east parking lot, enter the breezeway and look for the Crossbridge Kids Check-In station. We will complete your registration and one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age appropriate classroom.

Our Safety and Security Process: We will ask for your information, and that of your child, so that  parent/child security tags can be issued to you.  Your child will need to wear the name tag received at check in, while you keep the matching tag. After the service, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.

Crossbridge Kids is our ministry to children ages birth through 5th grade. While adults are in the worship service, kids come together for a fun, activity-filled hour centered around teachings from the most amazing book ever written – the Bible. Our hope is to partner with parents in laying foundations for faith by creating environments, curriculum, and resources that center on the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Birth – Pre K: In our nursery and preschool environments, we sing, tell stories from the Bible, and participate in activities relating to a Bible truth. While having fun in each activity area, teachers and kids have time to talk about how to live out the truth they have just learned.

Kinder – Grade 3: In our elementary environments, kids experience Biblical truth come to life through activities, crafts, games, application oriented discussions and creative video teaching. We show them how the Bible lesson is relevant in their day-to-day lives and help them apply the truth when navigating situations at home, at school, and in their friendships.

Grades 4 & 5: In our preteen environment, we celebrate the changes kids will experience as they transition from concrete to abstract thinking. We encourage them to form accountable friendships with their peers and leaders while experiencing life applicable Bible study to prepare them for the teenage years just ahead.
